The possibilities of the application of plasma-coated functional devices and tools
are not yet completely established in metal-industry.
Many potential users don't know the advantages of the new surface properties of coated devices such as wear resistance, temperature resistance, corosion resistance, small friction, high hardness etc.
Often plasma-coated parts were tested negatively or failed in the application. Main reasons for this are the wrong handling or the use of a not problem-optimized coating.
This trtaining concept was developed in context of a pilot project together with the "David Roentgen Schule" in Neuwied and the research institute for glass and ceramic (FGK) in Hoehr Grenzhausen.
